She's a serious student

We were in a huge rush to get to the bus on time this morning. As usual. Today we were in such a rush that Ellie didn't get to brush her teeth. I said, "Oh, great. Now you're going to school with dirty teeth." Ellie said, "I'll brush them right when I get home from school. But remind me, okay? I might not remember---I have a long day of learning ahead of me."
